You do not have to worry about waking up early as you can have some sleep in the vehicle as you travel. Pick up times vary. From Mombasa, you are picked up an hour later as compared to Diani Beach. This is because of the distance. Diani is 45 minutes drive before you reach Mombasa town, whereby from Mombasa town to Tsavo East National Park, it’s approximately 2 and half hours drive.

Therefore pick up from your Diani Beach hotel will be at 06.30hrs and from your Mombasa , Bamburi, Serena beach hotels, the pick up is normally at 07.30hrs. Day 1. Mombasa – Tsavo East (2 and half hrs drive)

07:00 hrs – After your early breakfast, our company driver will meet, brief and pick you up for your most anticipated 4 Days safari from Mombasa to Tsavo East Amboseli & SaltLick. You will be beginning with Tsavo East National park which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous historical man-eating lions. We will enter into the park through the Buchuma Gate and embark on game drive viewing upon entry. We may visit the Aruba Dam and the Kanderi Swamp area where a high concentration of animals is likely to be found(during the dry season, the dam normally dries up) Lunchtime will get us at our safari camp/safari lodge where we will check-in, enjoy lunch and relax within our Lodge/Camp. Embark on a late afternoon safari session within the Tsavo East national park in search of animals: lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetah, antelopes, zebra, giraffe, and many others. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Day 2. Tsavo East / Amboseli (5 hrs drive)

06:00 hrs – On this day, we will be early enough for breakfast. We will then check out from the camp/lodge and leave the park with wildlife viewing en-route within Tsavo East. Exit the park and drive off for Amboseli National Park arriving there in time for lunch. Late afternoon safari drive in search of animals within the. Amboseli National Park is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape The Observation Hill provide great views of the summit, the open plains and swamps. Animals likely to be seen are lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetah, antelopes, zebra, giraffes among many others. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Day 3. Amboseli / Saltlick – (6 hrs drive)

06:00 hrs – After an early breakfast, we will check out of the camp/lodge, embark on a game drive in search of animals en route as we leave the park to Saltlick Game Lodge. Lunch at a stop-over restaurant. Continue to Taita Hills Sanctuary (Saltlick). An afternoon game viewing en route to the Saltlick Lodge. Salt Lick is a truly unique architectural concept, with its luxurious oval-shaped rooms overlooking a waterhole that attracts a large number of wildlife, especially the elephants. In the evenings the animals gather at the waterhole-a spectacular sight to behold, as they drink at the watering hole. Dinner and overnight at Saltlick Lodge.

Day 4. Saltlick/Mombasa (4 hrs drive)

06:00 hrs – Pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast, and proceed for a morning game drive in search of lions, buffalo, elephants, giraffes, zebra, antelopes, leopards, cheetah among many other animals. After lunch depart for Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon. Drop off at your respective beach resort.
