DAY 1: NAIROBI TO MAASAI MARA

You’ll begin your safari with a morning (8am) pickup from your hotel by a representative of Perfect Safaris for a brief trip to Wilson Airport. There, you’ll board your approximately one-hour scenic flight to the Masai Mara. Enjoy your first sights of the dramatic Kenyan landscape with views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the towering cliffs bordering the Great Rift Valley.

Mid-morning you’ll touch down at the Mara airstrip, amidst the golden hills and signature acacia trees. You’ll be met by your guide in a 4 x 4 open-top safari Jeep. Hop in for your first quick game drive as you are brought to your accommodation to settle in and get ready for lunch. Brief afternoon siesta then set out for an evening game drive. The Mara is the richest ecosystem in the region with over 95 mammal species. There are plenty of big cats here along with imposing grazers – elephants, giraffes, rhinos, and buffalos. If time allows, you’ll be treated to the greatest movement of animals on the planet. At the Mara River uncountable herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles flood across from the Serengeti on their yearly trek in search of food. Evening visit to the Maasai Village for a cultural tour then return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at Keekorok Lodge Mara on full board basis

DAY 2: MAASAI MARA- NAIROBI

You will wake up to an early morning breakfast after which you will depart for a morning game drive exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will enjoy a picnic lunch at noon and proceed with your game drives until 1 pm then drive onwards to the airstrip to catch your 2 pm departure flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, we will arrange for your transfer back to your hotel from Wilson airport. End of Safari
